Vice President, Office Operations / Talent Management

Melissa joined HBW in 2015 as the Office Manager and quickly became instrumental as part of the Leadership Team.  In 2023, Melissa was promoted to Vice President, Office Operations / Talent Management. Melissa embraces HBW’s culture, which is evident through her relationships with all employees. Her ability to communicate and demonstrate HBW standards and culture also helps her identify potential candidates for HBW with ease. There are many facets to her day-to-day responsibilities, but two of the main objectives are leading the Administrative Team and focusing on recruiting for the company. As Vice President, Melissa will continue to manage the office operations and expand her role in bringing talent into HBW to ensure our employees and customers have the best experience.  She is also actively involved in HBW’s Women in Construction group, where their mission is to create a supportive group that promotes positive change for women in our company and industry.

Born and raised in Frederick, Maryland, Melissa now calls Montgomery County home, where she resides with her husband and her dog Sarge!  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her adult children and family, and can often be found in her hometown of Frederick where a piece of her heart remains.
