HBW Construction Announces the Promotion of John Hubbuch & Nick Tubolino to Project Executive

ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND – April 6, 2018

HBW Construction is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. John Hubbuch to Project Executive, and Mr. Nick Tubolino to Project Executive.

“It is with great pride that I announce John Hubbuch’s & Nick Tubolino’s promotion to Project Executive,” said Phil Scott.  “Their appointment is noteworthy for all of us at HBW, symbolizing our continued growth and increased presence in the region.  Our expanded leadership team positions us strongly to deliver to a diverse, growing client base.”

Hubbuch joined HBW in 2014 as a Project Manager, and advanced to Senior Project Manager in 2017; while Tubolino joined HBW in 2012 as a Project Manager, and advanced to Senior Project Manager in 2017. They both came to HBW with a solid set of construction knowledge and learned to be leaders during their time at HBW. Their individual results, ability to help create a learning company culture and define the HBW way earned them their latest promotion to Project Executive. Hubbuch and Tubolino will each be leading a team of Project Managers, while continuing to manage their own construction projects.

“This promotion recognizes both of their contributions made to HBW during their tenure with the organization” continued Scott. “John and Nick have created many long-lasting, repeat clients that have led to many successful projects. John recently received his Certified Healthcare Constructor certification and is positioned to help us grow our reach in the medical market; while Nick has helped elevate our professionalism on all our projects from office set-up to field execution. John and Nick’s commitment to excellence and passion for improving HBW’s overall image encompasses the qualities behind these promotions.”

Hubbuch spoke on his promotion.  “HBW has changed the way I think about construction.  It is much more of a team approach here and at the end of the day that not only makes us more successful but it’s also more rewarding.  This new position gives me the opportunity to do the same construction work I love, while allowing me to branch out by leading a group of Project Managers.  I’m looking forward to the next step in HBW’s continuing evolution.”

Tubolino also spoke on his promotion.  “With this promotion, I look forward to the next step in my career and being an integral part to the continued growth of the company.  I am grateful for the wonderful clients who’ve made it possible, the HBW organization for having strong visionaries and a clear platform for success as well as the industry partners that we coordinate with every day to build these beautiful spaces.”

The company further noted the expanded leadership comes in response to recent growth and a strengthened presence across the region. Notable new projects for the company include Association of the United States Army in Arlington, VA; Epstein Becker & Green in Washington, DC; Potomac Physician Associates in Chevy Chase, MD; Smith Pachter McWhorter in Tysons Corner, VA, 1100 17th Street Reposition in Washington, DC; and 1825 K Street Reposition in Washington, DC.  Hubbuch and Tubolino remain based at HBW’s headquarters in Rockville, Maryland.
